Horai University
The Horakshi
It is the mascot of the legendary Horai University in Japan.
But long before its towers touched the clouds, Horai was merely a whisper drowned out by the sea.

Legend says that before it became a cradle of science and geniuses, the region where the island now lies was struck by a chain of devastating tsunamis.
​
For days, the ocean's fury grew without relent, ravaging coastlines, erasing villages, and swallowing dreams.
When the final wave rose, taller than all the others, ready to erase even the last echo of hope… the sky roared.
​
And a winged creature with crimson claws tore through the black clouds, streaking across the firmament like a final judgment. Its silhouette settled on the shore, upon a solitary rock. There it sat and watched, calm and still, and the sea's fury halted out of respect.

They say the creature did not roar or attack—it simply gazed at the horizon. And the ocean, in silence, retreated.
So much so that new land emerged from its center: Horai Island.
A promise of a future, an offering born from the catastrophe. Now forged in the balance between natural fury and the will to protect.
